Michigan Graduation

We all drove to Michigan for Steven and Katie’s graduation. Steven is my host brother and Katie is his girlfriend. It was a long ceremony, but also fun. I’m so happy I got to experience a college graduation!DSC_1060DSC_1047  DSC_1069DSC_1000Lauren (host sister), Lisa (host mom), Katie, Steven, Tad (host dad) and Bennet (host brother).

Graduation

The last couple of weeks have gone by so incredibly fast. I remember other exchange students telling me how fast the last weeks will go by and that I have to enjoy each and every moment I have left. Now I’m sitting in my room looking at all these pictures and memories I have created the last weeks, and it all feels like a dream. The last couple of weeks have been very busy. I’ve played a lot of soccer, I was in Florida and before I knew it I was standing on the stage receiving my diploma.

It’s not the end yet, I still have some more days to enjoy my last time here in the states. But graduating made me realize how fast every thing has gone by. I also got the best surprise the day before graduating. My host family and I were standing in front of the house looking at the stars through a telescope late at night as a car stopped in the driveway. It took some time for me to realize who it was, but as I recognized the voice of my little brother I dropped everything and ran over to the car and into my brothers arms. My little brother was not that little any more, and the feeling of having them here was indescribable!

EPCOT

Around the world..DSC_1573IMG_3560DSC_1590DSC_1591Italy:IMG_3581

DSC_1553 DSC_1564 DSC_1568   DSC_1547Germany:IMG_3576    America:DSC_1588Even though the castle and the firework at Magic Kingdom was amazing, I have to say EPCOT was by far my favorite park. You “walk around the world” as you walk around a water. In a couple of hours we had been in Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, England, The Unites States, China, Japan, Canada and even Norway. The “countries” were impressive and I actually got the feeling I was walking in the streets of Italy and buying Norwegian sweets in a real Norwegian bakery.
